The world of international shipping and logistics is undergoing full evolution due to the coronavirus emergency, and societies urgently need medical devices. “Our sector is changing and Priano Marchelli is up to the challenge. We immediately structured ourselves to guarantee full support to companies, based on the changing needs of the market”, claims Andrea Giachero, CEO of Priano Marchelli. “We have thus activated a new service dedicated to the pharma and medical devices sector, on which we have been specializing thanks to a dedicated team.”

Over the last few weeks, the company has handled over 400 thousand kilos of goods, including masks, machinery and other medical devices, in support of the Italian Civil Protection. Priano Marchelli has taken advantage of the relationship it already entertained with its Asian partners, in particular Chinese, to import the necessary machinery to Italy. These goods also included the production machinery carried by air and purchased by the Varazze restaurateur Davide Petrini, who has just started producing masks. His special story in recent days has been hugely covered by the Italian media, including the popular broadcast “Che tempo che fa”, hosted by Fabio Fazio.
